Paseo De La Princesa- Old San Juan, Puerto Rico
This 19th century promenade just outside the walls of Fort El Morro offers beautiful views of The Atlantic & Cataño as well as playgrounds for children, local vendors selling everything from locally-harvested coffee to handmade traditional clothing & sweets.
*Fun Fact: The furthest corner of Paseo De La Princesa is also the beginning of Puerto Rico’s geographic presence in the infamous,three cornered “Bermuda Triangle”
Playa Puerto Nuevo- Vega Baja, Puerto Rico
A Blue Flag distinguished beach, Playa Puerto Nuevo Beach is known for its magnificent beauty and rock formations. Its calm blue waters and golden-sand shores are ideal for families to spend the day basking in the sun.
The rock outcroppings act as a wave break, but also offer magnificent views as the waves can reach up to 100 feet above sea level! Come camera-ready to enjoy this amazing local beach!
Kioskos @ Luquillo Beach
The Luquillo kiosks hold about 60 different estalishments, & each of them are numbered and named. A few sell souvenirs, some are specialty bars & , most of these kiosks sell food and drinks. It is hard to say which ones are the best, but most people have a favorite spot: just ask a local and you’ll find out for yourself!
